Barr Nunn raises pay

I get an E-Mail from Barr Nunn almost every week. To me that is a red flag that says avoid working for this company.
If they got bought out by Knight that is another red flag warning to avoid this company or you will regret it...

 

I have never applied to Barr Nunn or ever had any contact with this company. If Knight bought Barr Nunn it is the same company.

 

I have been all over the USA and I have seen dozens if not hundreds of restaurants that have a Taco Bell and KFC in the same building using the same kitchen.
Same for Long John Silvers and Pizza Hut. If you don't think that they are the same business then you are not very observant. If one company buys out another
company they are both controlled by the parent company. Remember when Heartland Express bought out Gordon? They are the same company now aren't they?
Just because they don't change the name dose not mean they remain separate companies. I am well aware how business is conducted by trucking companies. I
don't see what any of this has to do with what type of company Knight/Barr Nunn is anyway. They are both bottom feeders. If your happy working there then
good for you. All I did was express my opinion of this company. I did not ask you for a lecture on Monster search engines or chain restaurants owned by Pepsi...

 

It is my understanding that the are going to continue to operate as 2 separate entities. I have also been involved in a lot of business purchases under parent companies and sometimes the new company is absorbed and sometimes it continues as if nothing happened. If Barr-Nunn is operating at a profit level acceptable to the parent company then chances are no changes will be made as not to jeopardize the customer base. If there are issues the parent company may make changes and announce a "new & improved" Barr-Nunn or merge it with the parent company.

 

Now, I am curious as to why both Barr-Nunn and Knight are considered inferior companies. Unless they aren't paying the quoted wages or somehow stealing from the employees. It is so frustrating trying to research carriers when everyone has there favorites and consider every other company sum of the earth. Could I get some specifics on Barr-Nunn so I can add it to my research. Please and thank you.

 

knight will destroy that company i was going to switch over to them and then knight bought them out the week b4.. told them no thanks.. not working for anything to do with knight
