I was issued a very nice KW T660 from my company recently. I absolutely love the truck and it drives like a dream. There is only one problem that is a bit embarrassing for me to admit... I cannot comfortably drive with my right shoe on. The accelerator pedal is on an incline meaning its very hard to rest the heel of your shoe on the floor. I've driven Internationals, Volvos and Freightliners with no problem. After a bit of research I've found I have shallow dorsiflexion in my feet which explains why Ive always walked on my tip toes. Good news is I can easily drive with my big toe, which sounds crazy but the pedal is so light that its no problem at all ( hey, its worked for the last week or so).
Has anyone else experienced this with this model, maybe the Pete 386 too? Is it legal to drive barefoot? Does anyone else drive barefoot or should I have kept this to myself?
Thanks![]()

Ive always drove with my father in my socks. He wont allow shoes past the drivers seat so that's how I always drove. No idea if its legal or not.
KW10001 Thanks this. -
Well keep your Shoes/Boots close, I wouldn't want to explain a Barefoot Driving Ticket.

I always take my shoes when driving. It's just comfortable. But I at least keep socks on
