Exactly. The safety manager for the steel place I haul out of told me that their accidents always involve either a new guy, or someone with years and years of experience that got complacent.

Personally! I think posting these things could be beneficial ! Rookie drivers and perhaps even some veteran drivers that see these thing, might just pay a little more attention while on the road, no one is immune to a brain fart, seeing this might have pushed one to think a little harder on what their doing, and not made that foolish error

For our entertainment keep posting these kind of pics. Maybe these drivers won't pull these stunts if they get embarrassed by there actions. Have you done something your feeling guilty about?

Great post. Good driver too I bet!
    We learn from example!
It was about yr 5, I caught my self becoming a little to comfortable, from then on every accident and close call has stuck in my mind and become an integral part of my driving! This forum is a perfect place for this pic!

One wreck I will never forget!

I-84 Eastbound East of The Dalles, OR
3 trucks involved, Trk #1 tried to pass TRK #2 in the right lane, I guess he didnt want to be passed on the right, because he cut back into the right lane, so #1 went back out to the hammer lane, #2 went right back to the hammer lane. Driver of Trk #1 was likely getting a little angry when he swerved back to the right lane and hit TRK #3 right in the drive axles @ 60+ mph as he was pulling onto the Freeway from the shoulder. Never did hear if that driver survived but sure didn't look good.

I tend to agree. While no one is perfect, and we all need reminders, it seems #### like this happens far too often because of new drivers being pushed thru the system long before they should be all in the name of $$$. Perhaps when these same carriers see enough of their trucks and their name being advertised online in this manner, they will rethink the way they do things. My 2 cents.
