Sounds like you lost a GPS signal. You can tell under Preferences/General/GPS data - DOP should be less than 2. If 60 or 100 you have lost the signals.

I40 in OKC., there's a newish section there, it will do that. -
The post mentioned I-95 in GA.. nothing changed there.

I'm not familiar with that section of 95.
But the poster also asked anyone else ever had that happen.
So I mentioned a place where it happens and the possible reason for it. -

Updates to the map? NO they do not, I have lifetime maps and my mapbase is over a year old (per the unit) and I just did an update last weekend.
