And you don't have to wait an hour for re-tries. I've gotten load offers 15 minutes after I replied to 0 to get rid of the previous trash.

Go to your General Settings page.
Change the 'Number of Posts to Show Per Page' setting to something different - it doesn't matter what. I change between 10 and 20 whenever it happens.
That will fix the problem, for a time. Then just do it again if the problem comes up again.
I'm near Grand Rapids, MI.
Not many places to park around here and I had to drive 14 miles to the nearest truck stop.
I ignored a pplan earlier because I didn't know if I would be unloaded in time to make the pickup, or with the hours I had left. A Mac30 type I guess, so I got the usual messages.
I also didn't feel like heading back into PA.
So I tried doing a Mac30 when I got to my delivery since nothing more had been sent my way.
I got 3 load offers, but as I was checking them out it seems I ran over my time limit and it was cancelled.
What? It had only been 20 minutes!
And that was due to the customer being TOO good.
I hit the dock and a couple minutes later the dock guy came out to check that I had chocked my wheels and removed the red line.
He said it would be about 10 minutes - which I assumed was until he would start unloading me.
Nope!
I had a full trailer of water, and this guy was back at my door to give me the signed BOL 15 minutes later.
That was the quickest live unload I've EVER had.
He even pulled the chock and hooked the airline.
So I get here and do another 30.
I took the only one that even made sense, since 2 were picking up tonight and I only had an hour left.
So now I'll be heading to KY.
Live on both ends (which I couldn't determine before I actually opted for the load and got the real pplan), but it has enough time.HousTank Thanks this. -
Getting from Jurupa Valley over the Grapevine this morning was a challenge. Heavy rain and inadequate driving skills don't mix. 210 was a parking lot by 5:00 am. I took the wheel for this stretch. My trainee will drive the rest of the way to Tracy.

At Jim's Truck Plaza off I-90 in Buffalo NY.
Finished my live unload in Buffalo this morning and split for Geneva NY (next to Syracuse) to P/U my preloaded trailer headed for Bolingbrook IL. On the way to P/U customer turned everything upside down. Instead of 20K lbs they were only putting on 2.5K and added a stop back in Buffalo to add another 32K lbs. Would push my 14 but could be done (Jim's is one block from the stop so I figure I'll ease here under the radar if my 14 goes over during the load...easy enough).
When I'm 30 mins from the first P/U some planner decided I didn't have the hours and removed it. WTF!! I hop off an exit and check mac30..nothing. Back to plan A, I want this load as it's my ticket outta NY and back to the Midwest..today!! Call Houston and my DM says the system says I don't have the hours to do the P/Us plus get to final on time. Uh no..I CAN get it done so have the load put back on me please!! Jeez...I don't need the "system" to tell me how to get this done so that the customer and I are both happy.
So I get the load back, make both P/Us and get parked with a few mins to spare. Plus I have an extra 4 hours after getting to Chicago tomorrow to set my 10 for delivery. Customers happy, I'm happy.
After I parked tonight got stacked with the obligatory COSTCO load out of Morris, to Michigan. COSTCO loads now seem to be standard procedure for Company OTR drivers who have a final anywhere in ChicagoLand. Predictable and better than sitting.Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
Sitting at the Petro in Wheeler Ridge, CA at the base of the Grapevine. We were repositioned here from Tracy, CA.
I just talked to another Swift driver who was told that 30 trucks were repositioned to Wheeler Ridge from the Lathrop area. Now I'm kicking myself for turning down the only load that came up on a Mac-30, running 90 miles to Commerce City to pick up a live load and deliver 21 miles to Fullerton. On the one hand that would only get us into the LA basin and chew up hours, on the other hand it might put us in better position for a longer load and get away from competing with 30 other trucks...
... on the OTHER hand the Petro in Wheeler Ridge is particularly nice...
... on the OTHER hand I'd rather be making money... -

At a service plaza just east of the I-80/94 split in IN. Ran my 70 out getting here but get big hours back tonight. More than enough to unload in Bolingbrook, get down to Morris and get up to the Costco on west side of Detroit tomorrow.
Im in not a huge fan of Budweiser in Van Nuys. Been there more than I care to remember. Either the load wasn't ready and I had to wait at the drop yard down the street, load over weight needing rework, load put on a garbage can of a trailer with bad tandems or broken crank handles or jacked up so high you had to break your back to lower it to latch on. Always something at that place. Always pulling loads outta there to parts east to get out of LA was one of the many reasons I stopped going to CALI..period. The list of reasons was extensive. Just wasn't worth it for me. I don't think I ever saw a Swift O/O there and I sure wouldn't blame them for turning those down. -
Loves in Van, TX after dropping at the Target DC in Tyler. finally got to try Soulman's BBQ, is not bad and the cabbage and spicy creamed corn are great. have my home time set for tomorrow on 12/14 and every load they send me picks up tomorrow afternoon or later for delivery Monday. I planned it on Sunday to get a day in before my psych appointment, looks like I'm screwed again.

are you out of the Houston terminal?
i usually target loads going to DFW then grab a tcall from Lancaster going to Houston. They ALWAYS have loads going there. 9 times out of 10 I get home on the day I want.
Whose your DM...TS or CM??
