not hard at all most everyone with a few exceptions leave between 8 am and 10 am.
-
And I suppose that the only time you are off for xmas is if it falls on your day off correct?
-
everyone is off christmas day
-
When you say most all leave at 9 or 10am you mean the 5/2 5/3 routes. I have been hearing that the 5/2 routes leave in the evening...10pm
-
thanksgiving is that way but not christmas but they will try to get you to a store close to your home some time on thanksgiving.
-
There are different start times. Most of the program drivers start at 10am though.
-
its different at different dcs im sure but at mine there isnt hardly anyone that runs at night. almost everyone leaves out in the mornings
Harb Thanks this. -
i will tell you the worst thing about starting here and being an extra. its the slip seating its a pain in the butt. you may have a truck for the whole week or may just have one for a day or two. but if you hang in there and bid on every open program you wont be doing it forever. some dcs takes a few weeks some a few months some even longer. thats really the worse part of it in my opinion. everyone has to do it though so just part of it unless you get lucky like some guys and come in on a program.
Harb Thanks this. -
mruffin..I really appreciate you answer these questions, I am at FedEx Express and have been 24 years, driving for 6 and this is a possible huge change to what we know and we are just overwhelmed with questions and really have no where to turn so the help from those here is truly a blessing..How long have u been at Walmart? and is the first year pay really 76 or more?
