got ticket using co pilot truck 11

    you really like to down GPS units and you have one your self?
    i am begining too be leave that you dont have a GPS truck unit, you said you paid for for over 400,00 $

    beacause they won't always follow truck routes. They will get you in trouble. It is obvious there is only one way you are going to learn. After you get in trouble....:biggrin_2559: My truck version GPS had routed me thru atlanta before.... yeah; like I am gonna follow that route!:biggrin_25523:

    and i never said anything about paying 400 bucks on a co pilot gps ! well anyhow have a good one and be safe out there

    It may have been set to shortest route. That would send you through a town.

    yeah big 10-4 on that notarps ! overall it is a good investment i wouldn't be without it now. its payed 4 itself 10 times over just in the fuel alone the only thing is u have 2 get used to it and use it only as another tool once u learn what it capable of its a great thing :biggrin_25514:

    Yeah, I use one as well. I like it for updating my ETA's. They are nice, but I am afraid that some are losing the skills of the trade and one day their little GPS is gonna lose signal and they won't be able to get to OH from IN.:biggrin_2556:

    Now that is a scary thought. I got mine last April and it has been nice to have. I use it for the eta and always review for the last area for the hazards. I still look at the atlas, but with all of the miles I drove prior, I still try to mentally check the figures the GPS comes up with.

    Well if you would of read the info that comes wit copilot you would of seen where it say "YOU must still pay attention to local non truck routes and follow local designated truck routes"
