My delivery was changeover to 5am tomorrow from 8pm tonight. Little matter as we are allowed overnight parking at this customer so I was going there tonight anyways.

Receiver today kept me for 4:30 hrs... :biggrin_25510: to unload 16 pallets... :biggrin_2552: Broker called them twice, at my request to know what was causing the delay and to remind them about the detention they would have to pay... Another driver told me she got there at 6 am and she was still there when I left at 13:30 hrs.... That's ridiculous...
So now I am empty, at this large truck stop plaza in OK

On my way to next shipper in OK.... will be loaded tomorrow morning and head to CA... and after that, will reload nearby and go to co. warehouse in CA... At least this is what my 2 dispatchers were discussing this afternoon....

Sent msg to all dispatchers and 2 bosses in my co. about the bill the President signed that reverts two of the restrictions on HOS... My co. responded that although it has taken effect immediately, they are waiting for FMCSA to make an "official announcement"... or something like that... and for the "great" PeopleNet to adjust the elog... Hopefully on Jan 5th will be able to go back to what it used to be... I am anxiously waiting...

Yeah.... I missed that little detail, Toms Brook...
I like that former Wilco now Pilot better than FJ across the highway... it's more spacious... I guess Denny's attracts most folks at FJ... Pilot has a DD...

Sweet Pea truck stop where I was last night was really packed when I left at 2 am today... and a couple trucks parked on the ramp after going around parking lot and not finding a spot...

  8. Dumped the load off in Richmond,Ca for BNSF. High tailed it out of "gay bay". Now sitting in bumper car flying hook off 12/i-5 in Lodi.

So far. No accidents. But its not dark yet. Then the fun starts
