You guys would love what we use. It's called Driver Tech and its very user friendly. The best things about it is that it comes with a pc miller gps in it and our companies app works with it so you don't have to be in the truck to do all the macros/messages. Unfortunately it won't update till Jan 5th either. Lol

Coming from the I/T world, I know that even Jan 5 is an aggressive date for software development. Expect a major deadline slip, or an unpredictable system if the update pushes out on schedule.
A sensible person might think it's simply a matter of undoing what was done last year. Actually, it depends on a few things. The original change was probably done by contractors who are long gone. The code isn't commented and they used some convoluted logic to make it work, requiring substantial reverse engineering to figure out a solution. Then testing on a development system, done of course by people that might have seen a big truck once from their hut in India. Then they'll usually run a small pilot (no, not the truck stop) on a few carriers, to find all the bugs they missed. Once they've come --><-- this close to destroying their pilot carrier's on-time record and given them lots of rebates to keep their business, they will roll out to the masses. Which will start another, albeit lesser, round of bug checking and fixing.
To say the least, a two week rollout of a major change is crazy talk. If you e-loggers are lucky, they got the project funded and started when the first Congressman's lips formed the word "roll back." Having been there, done that a bunch of times, that right there didn't happen.
PS: I don't expect our Eclipse logs (laptop version of paper, not ELB) to reflect the roll back for another month or two. They got the last change out about a month after compliance was to begin (had to figure it manually). Then another update a few weeks later to fix the bugs. No big deal since we normally don't run hard enough to worry about the limits that were placed on the 34 reset. -
Hate to say it, but my QUALCOMM is already updated

I am glad the drive was okay , but I am pissed beyond that we lost 10 animals due to stupidity.
I love animals , and that is why I do my best to get them to their final destination as safe as possible.
I wanna know why people are in such a hurry to save 1 minute ?
I admit , I will fly up and down the hwy , but on a back st route I am calm and cool.... slow moooooRocks Thanks this.
