egr valve questions

    My egr valves are giving me problems, can I disconnect the wring until I am
    able to replace them? And would that be the wires at the back of the alternator?

    Yes u can disconnect it just check engine and minor derate and it is behind alternator one goes straight in box one goes from bottom screw in plugs
