I would go with Schneider....chemical will pay way more than food grade...u get detention and layover and all that good stuff...food grade pay is cheap and u have extremely long wait times...
Schneider or Prime for training?

You've never even worked for Prime? How does that quality you to bash then.
OP I worked on primes tanker div for a short while, it wasn't my cuppa tea. I'm over on flatbed now having a much better time of thing.
Food grade pays well, pays detention and layover and such. I got out because I'm a runner and wanted the training on flatbed anyhow.
Food for thought.Puppage Thanks this. -

My super trucker step son started as a newbie with Schneider. After a yr he is a "training Engineer" and has the decal to prove it. He is round one, he gets a student out of orientation, drive around the midwest ( cause he is a ##### and won't do mountains, or go east of Cleveland,,,of yea,,,he recently added tall bridges ( in Houston, or underground caves in Mo to his list of " won't do's" ) try's to say he wants to make a difference in quality driver trying then brags he is about the $40 a day, maybe 2 attempts to back up.
After 1 week students go back to Green Bay for more orientation and driving test, lasts about 8 days then you get your ride,,,
even Werner put students 325 hrs behind the wheel, tries to get mountain driving, city driving, trip planning etc.
schneider used to be pretty good for training,,,but not so much anymore....go with Prime for the experience and training.newtrucker60473 Thanks this.
