My knowledge of Navajo/Navajo Express, couple of people I know worked for them back in the late 90's, they had not so nice things to say about them from back then regarding home time, basically you never got it. I go by the Navajo yard in Denver all the time, you see the same cars parked in the drivers parking lot for months on end.
Been thinking navajo express.

just quit working there. trucks have been turned down to 62 on pedal 65 on cruise. getting hometime was an issue every time i tried to get it. running the meat loads all the time was ok i had a 680 with apu and it was nice going 70 until they turned them down across the fleet.

Navajo one of the lowest paying companies for experienced drivers. That is not good. If you are a newbie, I would just put in 6-12 months and move on to better pastures.

She still on Facebook whining go to navajo fb page.joseph1135 Thanks this.

I work for them running Costco from Salt Lake. Not a bad company. 34 cents a mile to start. I picked them so I could be home every other night and weekends. I run doubles and make 1000 a week. Plus 500 a month in bonuses. Yes 65 is top speed.

So one year .34 cents a mile to start for one year experience?

If I were going to rely on what I read on the internet I'd take Chinatown's advise over a disgruntled trainee that had some pretty obvious issues with being productive on the road or a thread posted that simply "hoped" Navajo would go bankrupt.
As a trainer the abandoned trainee thread struck a bit of a nerve. As her story unfolded it was pretty easy to read between the lines. She brought way too much #### on the road and wanted to take a sit down meal break and probably couldn't wake her ### up early enough to take her hour to pretty up before driving in the morning, putting the load way behind schedule. This isn't a vacation, it isn't a school, it's a job the moment you get on a truck. Treat it like you care about making deliveries on time.
