No, mine aren't factory injector codes.
-
MM its a ready to drop in engine, bell housing, turbo, even gotta alternator on it, bet its shot though lol.
Diesel, bet ya got the 5232 then. -
Opps, sorry missed that. don't listen to me. I like to butt in
-
I thought he was talking about some of the 475 turned up. I was thinking maybe a trim code was something extra. I always just called the injector codes.
-
Well if you can get a password then set the FLS to 127, along with the 5232 this will make your 550hp a 700-750hp, depending on the size of injectors.
-
A password? I don't have one set in mine. Is that deeper in the parameters where you need one?
-
Ya we were trying to go over what would need to be checked from sitting for so long.
See what you do to me! -
LOL i would just pull the injectors and try to crack it over by hand, im sure its fine, if anything drop some oil into each cylinder.
Diesel, yes thats deeper in the parameters, FLS is full load setting which is password portected, this is the ecm telling the injector when and how much fuel to fire to achieve maximum hp. A FLS of 127 on lets say a 2WS 3406E from 1999 will make it a 750hp engine, i would upgrade turbos at this point though, you can get away with the stocker but its not worth the risk. -
I have the same setup in my shaker (2.93,13 spd and a 430/470).Mine runs very well and the mpg stays between 6.5 and 7 on a reg basis pulling a stepdeck and stayed about 5.8 to 6.0 pulling a reffer before I rebuilt the engine and have no power probs at all.
It might be how your ecm is set up or you you might be needing to have your overhead run.
I know a guy where I live that is good with detroits and can make them run every since he played with the ecm and pulled and worked over the injectors and flowed them it has made a big difference.
