I'm considering it. If I have to do motor work I just may. My biggest concern is what it will cost to add the air to air. it could easily get to be up there with the cost of the motor

I'm near certain I have a leaking front head gasket on my motor. I've been going back and forth about wether it's leaking or if it is just left over oil from the oil soaked mess I had when I bought it. On the cumins the head gasket doesn't sit tight between the block and head except at the combustion chamber so when you get oil between the head and gasket it will bubble out when the motor is running and looks like the gasket is bad. Unfrtunatly it's hard to tell without pulling the head.
I'll tell ya I'm about ready to go buy a #### truck to work and keep this for a toy. if only anyone in the country was stupid enough to give me a loan

Today you can get a loan for a truck with any credit. Honestly i know its bad but i dont think i could go to work for a company, i like what i do.

Theres a nice 379 with your name all over it. Says AL!!!!!!! on the back of the sleeper lol.

Unfortunatley thats how all the N14s ive seen started, with outside leak by the head gasket untill thy just completley took a crap. I would be carefull...... Just make a puller out of it! You could do a air to air pretty cheap, get a used intercooler, weld some brackets to outside radiator, fab some piping and off ya go.

your probably right about the credit. They have to move them somehow. I don't want a payment though but in my times of bing most P.O.'d with my situation I sure do start thinking of it.

Man theres a 97 379 in indiana i was checking out, 550 cat rebuilt, RTLO18718B rebuilt, and DS404's 3.55 rebuilt. They are asking 29k for it, bet you can get it for 25k, if you can come up with 5k to put down, finance the 20k lets say for 36mo if u want a low payment figuring interest you will be a tad bit over 600 bux a month, pay another 120 or so a month in bobtail and physical damage insurance, lease on somewhere and go to work. I hear schneider has a good deal now with the real time loads like landstar and percentage pay, but i hear if u see a load posted and the pay listed is posted as to the truck, landstar is gross.
