Had the telephone interview this afternoon - seems all is good. The thing I learned - and I like is that that have a one month "Mentoring" program. So after you finish the 18 day orientation/finishing period, I can opt for 4 weeks of "Team/Mentoring Driving" I think I would need that to be more comfortable on the road.
I got a bunch of email data after the interview and the data on their typical trucks are as follows:
Freightliner Casadia or Century Class
Eaton FR 10 Speed
National model 2000 air ride 6- way cushion adjust seat
72" raised roof condo or century 70" raised roof condo sleeper
Is this something I should be happy about?
Going to test for my CDL early January and then head off for orientation.
Regards
Hal

It's a basic company truck so don't expect the ritz or you will be disappointed

Prime's TNT program would give me about 12 weeks and Schneider's is 18 days.
Having hired GRADUATES from both the PRIME trained drivers have proven to be the better drivers , and needed less hand holding out in the real world of trucking

If youre forced to drive at 57 mph, your job sucks.
skyviper73, hal380 and TennMan Thank this.
