a year is a long time... especially if you don't like being otr or even the job. better off paying for it yourself or taking out a loan and let them reimburse you $150 a month.

Staying with your first company for a year is a good idea. You have much to learn after CDL school and driving through all 4 seasons - especially in the Midwest region - is key to success. After a year, you are much more attractive to other companies or even within Schneider. If you leave early, you will probably have to pay them back for your schooling. Learning to stick it out is one of the toughest things about this industry.
You have a lot to learn after school. Patience is part of it. -
clarify that with them.
