Good luck with the move. Used to pull a lot of R&L freight. If I remember correctly lots of hazmat. They have some very nice yards and some yards that are....well....not so nice....lolTruckDuo Thanks this.

Has your kids ask you to bring one home as a pet ?Last edited: Dec 23, 2014
wore out and tangerineGT Thank this. -
If they haven't they will. We have 3 mama cows that were born in my old Merritt trailer. I took them to my Mama to bottle feed of course she asked my daughter to help. That ended up them being named, which led to a bull calf getting named. All that has turned into all the calves of those three being named. Well y'all see where this is going

That'd give horrid meaning to, "take your pet to work day."

Thanks FatDaddy !
When we did the Ceva dedicated account at USX we would do R&L loads. R&L said they do a lot of HazMat because for the longest time they didn't charge extra for HazMat loads. What they'll probably have us do is hook up to a double from the Chicago terminal and take it to a truck stop in Murfreesboro, TN and swap trailers with another R&L driver. Do that 5 times a week then home for 2.
Funny story.....when we started Ceva, US Xpress told us to always weigh R&L loads especially out of the Chicago terminal because another husband and wife team picked up a load out of there and used R&Ls scale and it scaled okay. They didn't hit a weigh station till they got to Missouri and it turned out they were 90,000 lbs.
The wife was driving so she got hit with a $900+ fine.
FatDaddy Thanks this. -
Hahahahahha
