Well I could resist, I book a load from Winston Salem, Nc to Cabool, Mo. It picks up on the 29th. I guess I will spend another week annoying my wife.

 

Those are nice looking loads. Light cans too I believe.

 

Yes and paying really good. I have not been to the midwest in months.

Ran my 11 hr clock down to 3 minutes today. Parked at Gary OC. Fell 7.5 miles short of my drop at Walmart in Hammond. Would have gone home tonight but have to take 10, drive over the Walmart in the morning, bob tail back then go home. I'm so thankful that the feds are looking out for our safety with Elogs. I would have killed someone driving that extra 15 mile round trip.

 

You can make it from the OC to the Hammond Walmart without logging any drive time if you're careful. Not saying that I've ever done such a horrible, irresponsible thing.

I still have nightmares from that place. When I was a company driver they suckered me into picking up a load there at the Wal-Mart DC and trying to relay it 7.5 miles away at the OC. It was overweight, I was running out of hours, and the rent-a-cop summoned to protect and serve the area next to the CAT scale kicked me out, not allowing me to make a phone call to SNI to ask what they wanted me to do with the load after I got the scale ticket showing it was overweight. GOD I'M GETTING MAD JUST THINKING ABOUT THAT DAY. DEEP BREATHS... DEEP BREATHS...
