don't have it anymore. about the only thing hauled these days would be beams and trusses. not hard to climb up on. but there's 2 handles bolted to the back of the cab that could hold it if i still needed it. they are spread far enough apart to slide inside the handles.

That reminded me of the time I ran PVC conduit through my tow hooks to put my oversize flags in for the front of the power unit to run through IA.cool7035 Thanks this.

Here's a link to the one I use.......the strap handler is hard to hate on as you get older. Anything is better than nothing; but a tool made to do the job is better yet.

was that price correct??? 599.00 dollars, if so I will keep chunking them things. that's quite a bit different than 40 or 50 buck tool. the air operated strap roller at 1599.00 is a bit out of the question

I used to to load with that guy. Still truckin as his idea didn't take flight like it could have. Too much $ for it, it's a good tool, but you can't use it for pushing chain or moving tarp. -
I guess it might with the edge attachment, but my god 599.00????? I see why it didn't take off.
around 90 to 100 or so and he would have made a killingRuthless Thanks this. -
I second the paint roller on a telescoping pole. Pull the foam deal off and you're left with a hook on a stick.
I use mine for lots of stuff... positioning straps, setting edge protectors and strap padding, hooking bungies, pulling straps through for belly wraps... even fishing things out from under the truck and hooking the inside link on my tire chains.BROKENSPROKET Thanks this. -
Please forgive me.
It looks great, but if not for that money. A farmer showed me how to throw straps and have not had any shoulders problems since.
I sling it like this but i hook the to the rub rail unroll 7 feet(from the trailer), sling it, turn my back to the trailer and launch it like a bride tossing the bouquet. No stress on the shoulder and they LAUNCH.

I did the same, It's 8' But I've got it cut in halve, and put a female threaded cuppller on one and male threaded cuppler on the other so I can put them back together
