I almost never drink a normal soda, so most of the sugar free stuff tastes OK to me. You can find some that you like. Buy the half liter bottles of water by the case, and then use those single serving sugar free packages you can buy at any supermarket for about a buck for ten, and get whatver flavor you want. I'm not going to buy trendy designer flavored water.
Drink more water, period, it's good for you.
If you get better flavored coffee, I'm not talking that junk the truck stops sell, you can learn to like coffee that isn't loaded up with sugar and cream, also.

I see people using those lattecrapacino machines at the truckstops, that's mostly sugar, and god knows what kind of additives are in there. Might as well be drinking a milkshake.

Bottled water and go for walks every chance you get.
Also, cut back on your caloric intake little by little each week.
Eat more salads and start eating apples.

Im a huge fan of soda.I drink 2 2liters of soda a day more in the summer coke, rootbeer, strawberry, orange and grape but im one of the lucky ones and don't gain weight.OP if you really wanna quit you can, start buying bottled water. When you go to truckstops stay out of the cooler that sells coke so you won't be tempted.

over a year ago I was at 306 lbs and so far im down to 248 and losing it slowly, you just have to be wanting to do it and actually do it. I completely stopped buying sodas a couple weeks ago along with cutting out all the energy drinks I was drinking daily which consisted of normally 3 monsters or so. Now I drink 1 24oz cup of coffee each day and then I drink bottles of water with powerade drops which are zero calories and taste pretty dang good to me. I also finally put a microwave in my truck this past week which has opened a lot of options for eating better and I have cut out almost all eating out and when I do its usually a sub or salad from Subway which I pay for with my Loves points.

Go flatbed, I've lost a good amount of weight, I'm also joining my company's weight loss competition soon so I expect that trend to continue.

Yeah, I do have to say for my weight I actually carry it pretty well because of my height... The wife says just stop cold turkey but, its not that easy... I wanna get back down to 220lbs by this time next year... Its a new year year but don't wanna call it a new years resolution because they tend to fail lol
