I'm about to start training with my trainer and I have a few products with alcohol in them. I know you can't have mouthwash with alcohol, but I have body spray with "Alcohol denat." and "Methyl cyclodextrin". My deodorant has " stearyl alcohol". Do I have to toss em?

nonsense, there isnt one solid reason to not use an alcohol based mouthwash; other than preference to not drying out the inside of your mouth.

If it smells like alcohol I would toss it because people talk and jump to conclusions.I had hair spray that smelled like alcohol which I didn't know till one time a cust called the cops they showed up and made me take a breathalizer test.Officer is the one that told me I smell like alcohol. So to be on the safe side and don't have to go thru embarrassing moments I would buy spray that doesn't reak of alcohol.

Happy New Year Patty. A few more weeks the restraining order you put on me will expire, and we can't start 2015 out with a bang.

    pattyj and stryker5673 Thank this.

It has been the case that drivers would blame alcohol products like mouthwash for positive test results. I was under the impression that the regs changed after the original drug and alcohol regs were written, and carrying alcohol products like mouthwash in the cab of a truck was illegal, or perhaps my understanding of what is written in multi section form at FMCSA is confused, for finding that reg at FMCSA has proved difficult at best for me. I never did find out about air line anti freeze or aerosols.

One would think toxic alcohols would be exempt in the cab, but then again, let's go back to when pre-emloyment alcohol testing was required. Know why it was eliminated? Because one has the right to go to a job interview drunk. I don't make this stuff up, our elected "leaders" do. Along with that I will say common sense is anything but common, especially when our elected bozos have the reigns. These are the same folk who thought Fed Ex and UPS and the like should collect cigarette taxes at the door upon delivery to residential entities. yep. True story.

C'mon Patty, tell us the real reason they called the police.
