DFO I saw your headlight post on the other thread... I think (know)you have the 4 headlight system.
Ge and sylvania both make a replacement seal beem that is better (brighter)than oem. And there not the cool blue ones lol.....

And if you have the factory driving lights check witch ones you have. Per-lux makes many models and kw puts the crap ones on usually.....

Right now I have the Sylvania H4651 sealed beams for low beams and I believe it's one number up or down for the high beams. They are pretty good, though I have yet to try them at night in the rain. Are these the ones you were referring to?

I do have the factory fog lamps but no idea on what bulbs are in them, haven't checked. They don't seem to do a whole bunch but they do help a little. I don't want to do anything crazy with the headlamps, but would love to have some good legal lights that might do more than the sealed beams, but of course I don't want to be that ***hole driver blinding everyone going the other way. Any good upgrades for the T600 that ya'll know of?

There is always a chance for contamination when filling a fuel filter from a bulk source so if you are gong to fill the filter with fuel, the best practice is to plug the centre hole in the filter with a plastic plug and fill the filter from the outside so no unfiltered fuel gets to the injectors. Having said that, I fill mine with 2 stroke oil. open a new 1 litre bottle, pour it in the filter, then open another and fill the filter. This way there is no chance of contamination unless the oil was contaminated when bottled (unlikely). Any remaining oil in the bottle gets dumped into the fuel tank. I never fill a filter from a previously opened bottle.

I fill my filters using a 1/4 in. clear plastic tube. Like 1/4 in. air line. Siphon it out of my fuel tank and insert the tube into the dirty side of the filter. I do the same thing with the oil filter, slowly pour oil out of a gallon jug into the dirty side of the filter.

I guess I should explain further , I have a huge glass measuring cup, a quart size. it will be clean as a whistle when the fuel is pumped into it, from a hose which comes straight from the filter on the drum. the filter filling diesel is filtered. the fuel is kept on hand to run a backhoe , tractor etc. I have filled a filter or two in my 58 years. it aint like I roll em around in the dirt before filling them, lol .

I always fill the filter from a jug, if the jug is clean and filled with clean fuel there is no problem. I have seen many a Cat that when they get a bubble of air in the system it will not start, I have made a flushing system to get units started when people tried putting on a dry filter. Putting on a dry filter is how Cat recommends, but they will not come out and flush out the air for free if you do it their way and it does not start. The priming pump works on the seal being lubricated and filling a filter will dry it out.

I have the same engine. Last week diesel gel'd in the filters when it was -20F. I had to change the filters (first time for me).

Removed each filter, put in 1/2 911 and 1/2 diesel from the old filter. Wouldn't catch. Primed with the pump. Got it to chug up to 1000 RPM with pedal down for about 15 seconds, then died. Reprimed, restarted, chugged to 500 RPM then died. Repeated once or twice more before finally starting running. Let me tell you, all the smoke in the yard looked like a WWI battlefield.

It finally worked but it took a few times to get the air out of the system.

Oh... and on the third repriming try, the pump handle got stuck in the up position, just like yours...I thought I broke it! I had to stand up on the tire and really jam it down. It just had too much pressure.
