Charged with Dangerous Driving

    I know this fella that got charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle (criminal offense, mandatory license suspension, possible jail time). He took it to court and was acquitted. I usually post this stuff for the benefit of others but sometimes it ain't worth the preaching from the holier than thou's. Y'all want to hear the story?

    I really don't understand this thread. So is this about promoting bad behavior, because some jury may find you innocent. While you call those who preach safety holier then thou so they can stay on road and not put their life in the hands of a jury?

    Are you curious or not? For all you know, just saying, it could've been a bogus ticket by an officer that had a bad day.

    Pretty sure if the thread promotes bad driving then it'll earn the ire of others. Good chance it'd get locked anyways if too much bickering went on! ;)

    it could've been a bogus ticket by an officer that had a bad day:biggrin_25526: likely had 2 DEATH's involved so not likely just a COP making his ticket quota
