oilfield laying off

    We haven't seen any slow down here in Big Lake. With the exception on the weather the last few nights, we have been staying busy and having to have trucks from other yards come help us out.

    Used to be a "saftey-man" in ND... you couldnt pay me enough to run trucks in ND crude/water/Saltsater this time of year... absolutly crappy....

    my stepbrother got a job in the ND oilfields, but oil prices got so low that they had to let him go. they couldn't afford to keep him

    I heard a Houston outfit that builds and maintains man camps just laid off 30% of their workforce...

    Its going to be a tough new year in the oil patch.
