Only been with them for just over a year, so do not know.

Have heard at one point in the past, we were notoriously fast. Then they made a complete reversal. Not sure when that occured.

Sure someone that's been around will chime in.

There's a couple of company guys up that way who are looking to get terminated...

Prime was o/o and lease only way back, wide open trucks. After FMCSA and SAFER, as well as the company truck program started, it was 72, or 65 (company), but o/o's could get authorized for 76.

    FullMetalJacket Thanks this.

Not going to happen... be looking for fuel prices to go back up in the next 6 months. This is only temporary.

I could understand the theory of running faster to get delivery done for an extra load if we were drop and hook but 90% of drop are live so you have a specific appointment time, all your going to do is run 65 burn more fuel, put extra stress on the truck, sit for longer and burn even MORE fuel idleing and get pissed off. Only run above 58 if its a tight load. And just because fuel prices are coming down doesn't mean you don't still lose money, only difference is you don't loose as much money. And I like every dollar I get.

No. Percentage, mostly with fixed appointments. Running faster only drives your costs up, and reduces your profit.
