Take it from a former legal professional; stay away from contracts as much as humanly possible. There's always way too much "red tape" to contend with, if for some reason you need to rescind your contract. In addition, once you're locked unto a contract, the company has you by the "b@lls." Besides, most companies that hire recent grads have a tuition reimbursement program anyway, so the money issue should be moot.
No one, now-a-days, will hire you for a local job if you don't have at least 6 months to 1 yr TT driving experience. Heck, they won't even hire you for a local job that requires a Class B, even if you already have your Class A, and have no experience. The reason???? INSURANCE!!
Since you were considering Roadmaster, and they're in Tampa, why not consider where I went to school; Sheridan Technical College, in Pembroke Pines, FL?
Sheridan has the only authorized examiner trainer in the entire State, so if that doesn't tell you something about the quality of training you'll get there, what does? Besides, with cost being a hair over 2K for a 320 hr course, where you will drive 1,000 miles, or more, this is a no-brainer.
I still remember the Roadmaster representative telling me she'd guarantee me a job paying in excess of 40K a year once I got out of school. What a load of caca!!
I don't know what to do next...
