I'll add one more thing for the OP. If you really want to know about the company, go visit the local terminal and talk with the recruiter. See if you can talk with some of the drivers, look at the equipment, etc. You'll find out more than you can on the internet or relying on whether cars in the parking lot are the same or not.

Haha, that's some funny stuff. What I find funny is all the diesel dummies who ran right over to their page and started posting negative reviews based on PJ's story.

Negative. 62 on the floor/65 on the cruise. If you have a Cummins, Driver Rewards is programed in, and you can get 67 if you keep your idle down. This feature doesn't exist on the Paccar or Volvo-powered trucks (the Pornstars aren't a factor here, as the only ones still in service are lease-purchase trucks).

Right now, maybe 30 - 40% of the fleet has them. They're on their way up, but they're still not in the majority. 20XX trucks... I've only seen one which has it. No 28XX or 29XX trucks have them. A couple of the 30XX trucks have them. Most (but not all) of the 31XX trucks have them. All of the 32XX, 33XX, 34XX, and 35XX trucks do have them. Rocky Mountain doubles trucks do not have them.

That's the impression I get.. I don't drive for them, I don't know their hiring area, I just work in their shop.

Their trucks look alright when they don't get beaten to ####. The quality of drivers varies here.. some have my utmost respect. Others, not so much..
Kenworth T660s and T680s are the mainstay here, with the former largely on their way out. There are also a number of Cascadias, which are a new addition to the fleet. There are a handful of Volvos and T700s. The Prostars are being taken out of action, although some are still in service as lease purchase trucks (although they retain the original Navajo or Cargo Express livery), and there are a couple newer ProStars in service with Dave Bolles (who keeps the same livery on his trucks as Navajo).
Anything else you see which isn't a daycab is either an O/O, LP, or agent carrier truck, even if it shows Navajo livery still, as a lot of the O/O and LP trucks were company trucks at one point (e.g., T600s).

Oh, yeah.. pure door slammer company.

They have a website with all that info on there.

I take those posts with a grain of salt, as well - not just with Navajo, but with any company. Let's face it, in an industry full of truck stop counters inhabited by multitudes of ex-SEALs and other black ops sorts who've been driving since the age of 5 and never make any mistakes, I don't have much faith that the guy who made multiple delivery failures, damaged freight, damaged and trashed his truck, etc. is going to be particularly keen to point that out when they make a post there. DAC tells the carrier's side of the story, this site tells the driver's side... either way, you never get the full story, and what you do get is a very biased, one-sided story which doesn't necessarily include all the pertinent bits. So yes, I'm not saying this because I work for Navajo... personally, I could give two ##### less whether someone comes to work here or not... even if I were listed as a reference for 100 new hires with this company, I would not benefit from it in any way, shape, or form, so I have nothing to gain by trying to embellish this company, period.

^ As Vance knows, I'm the one who had to turn his truck down, and he knows I took no pleasure in doing that to him.
If you want a complete assessment of this company, this is one man I'd trust to give it to you straight - the good, the bad, the in-between. How much do I trust him? Well, he's the only driver who has my phone number, and the only one who ever will, if that tells you anything.
And before you go attacking him with, "oh, you quit because you got butthurt over speed limiter?!" comments, shut the hell up.. there is more to that story as it pertains to him, and it's not just the speed reduction.

As for me, I like working here, but I can't tell you how they are to drive for. Some drivers are happy, some like to gripe. For me, I'm not a freight hauler... the driving I did was much different from what OTR drivers do, and when I did have to take an OTR stint, I ran for a small fleet owner running for CRST Malone, he was good to work for, I had a lot of autonomy out there (perhaps even more than I should've had driving someone else's truck), no speed governor, paper logs, no being kept on a leash, paid percentage of gross to the truck, plus I was running flats, steps, and manual detach RGNs... to go from that to a big box company with governed trucks, e-logs, forced dispatch, mileage pay, etc. would be a very difficult and bitter pill for me to swallow, no matter how great the company was. Do not ask me if I'd drive for them, because I'm in a poor position to assess them from an OTR driver's standpoint.
They do seem to offer a nice fuel bonus, I do know that much. Can't really remember specifics of it.. I had to go through driver orientation so I could be certified to drive their trucks off-site, and I kinda let my mind wander during that part of it, since what they were saying wasn't really applicable to me.
