Rain will be changing to snow this evening as the upper level low pressure system moves across Missouri and Illinois. The greatest snowfall is expected to be to the northwest of the track of the storm system where 1 to 2 inches of snow will be possible. Otherwise, much colder air will pour into the region tonight and Sunday.

Ok, PA and NY really sucked. Not looking forward to this next early morning drive. Hoping NY, CT, and MA, lay down a lot of salt. If not, gonna be a slick ride.

And on top of that, my stinking inverter has quit working. Luckily, I have a little 150 w backup, that will run my confuser just fine.

I will say one thing about the drive in NY, BTW, at Maybrook. Least here, it's started snowing. All thru PA, it was sleet. I'll take snow over sleet any day!!!

As long as you are not driving in upstate new York like Adirondack or Oswego area you should be fine. I'm near syracuse and we got a good amount of freezing rain but will be in the 50 ' tomorrow so should be good road conditions

*sighs* Not just inverter bad, looks like the whole APU has crapped out. Least we don't have an idle restriction on these trucks.

The early morning drive I'm talking about, starts at @ 0100. 3.5 hrs away, appt not till 0700 but, not knowing what the roads are going to be like...... oh well.

Be nice crazy driver .....or I'll have to send a lightning bolt your way! :biggrin_2559: Actually, there has been some severe weather across Mississippi and Alabama today ....tornado activity. Take care.
