Ever get the feeling that posting on here is a lot like sticking your hand in a tank full of piranhas? :)

I'll give it to the young whipper snapper. If he trust his life in the hands of another man or woman driving while he's sleep. He's a better man then me. We need brave n courageous people to train the next generation of freight relocation specialist.

I just ask you not to feed them the fleece purchase garbage. If renting a job works for you. Go head playa with your bad self. Others may not be as wealthy & courageous. Have a wonderful day and keep the shiny side up.

Good grief. The naysayers just have to bash anyone who they think isn't as qualified as they are, no matter what experience level they have. Apparently, saying nothing if they can't say "well done" isn't good enough for them. I'm glad the Ignore function works well...

Not bashing at all. Good job, glad to see hes done well his first year. So he now has about 9 months experience, would just like to see a couple of two or three years at least before the training begins.

I have to agree, newbs training newbs is just not good practice. Glad you are doing well and glad you have been successful with your lease so far,yes there is definitely money to be had for those willing to work hard on the lease side. That being said you barely have enough experience to get hired on as a solo driver at most companies now and you want to train??? If you truly arent doing it for the extra money then my advice is to wait at least another year to "give back" to the industry. Your students will be much better off for it if you do.

Okey willing to add my 2 cents...im in tnt training... s o. I will talk about my views from the psd side...i have talked to other psd student....prime offer a psd training but there is no question ask to the students.. like what traning didxu get..push the students to pass the cdl on the first try or second...how many do and how many dont?quite a few come back to do the test have difficulty to do an alley back docking or sidexoffset...question how many do sleep on the top bunk while the truck is moving? How does the trainer treat them like dirt or yell at them.
ps im not saying that you are going to be a bad trainer..but from past experience. .one year or even 2 should the minimum.training is not that easy. Needs some balls and patience...
expecting some flags about..this. but sorry there is trainers that should no be a trAiner..

but there some bad ones out there...they should a cross and check reports..u bring a student to test and he is having difficulty to backup....is this okey ?
    Just a point a view..

Personally, I feel trainers should have a min of 5 years experience. I trained for three years , started after 20 years on the road. No matter what questions come up you have first hand knowledge of how to handle it.
