Are you a "one-way hauler" or what percentage of your truck miles is empty in the 300 mile radius and is it quick turn-around type stuff if you do back-haul? [just curious]

One way, pick up another within 30 miles of the drop and than to the next and so on.

If just having your own trailer. Gonna lose time just sitting there.

you could likely be making about $2.50-$3.00/mi

If only the brokers would push the fuel surcharge over to our rates.
Rates are down due to no fuel kick. $1.50 - $1.85 now -
Lol guess nobody told my customers about that-my prices are the same..fuel going down doesn't change that. What kind of increase will you charge when insurance goes up bc of the new minimum $7m ?
