Every driver has a DAC report. It's adrivers record put together by a company. You can google it. It's free and the co will send you a hard copy. Welcome to the industry. There are so many incident/accident scenarios that can bite you. That. You'll be amazed. Develop a code to live by and own it when you fall victim to a scenario. You'll be a better driver for it.

I went past a couple trailers the other day, someone dropped loaded trailers and the feet sunk in the mud up to the cross frame. As has been said, S happens.
So what S happened to you?

Not all companies use DAC ( Hire Right). Hire Right lost a lot of credibility a few years ago in a major lawsuit. Also it costs money for a company to submit and receive any data from Hire Right and that's why they don't always use them

I think that clears up why you didn't report the damage. :biggrin_25510:

I did report it all except the trailer ... which was stupid of me not to do so Ive always tried to be honest but I panicked. every one of those incidents could have been prevented and were because I was in a hurry and or stressed. the last trip that ended my driving I had gas stolen in TX. Laport, picked up a trailer at Pilgrims pride had a blow out with no where safe to pull over was on a toll and was trying to get to the micky Ds to fix it ( no oil in the hubs which i fixed ) then at a loves in OK. really small Loves
really tight to get fuel thought that the second entrance was for trucks wasnt it was an exit was in line for fuel and felt i was blocking so i backed to open for others to get thru the freight liner that i thought was a space over wasnt... on another trip My only tow was again not paying attention to my Trailer and went over a knoll which almost rolled my trailer.. again no damage but careless and stupid
