Hey All, I noticed an Averitt terminal (droplot?) just south of Indy on route 37. I was wondering if anyone has any insight into what it's like working for Averitt out of this area. In particular, how much home-time might a driver expect... Is this an area that Averitt hires from much? Any info would be greatly appreciated...

They do hire out of Indy. I had an offer from them last year but had to decline because I didn't have transportation at the time.

They do hire out of the indy area. I drove for averitt out of their drop lot in columbus, oh and was home every weekend unless i chose to stay out longer. They were a pretty good company to work for, the only reason i left was i had an offer for a local job that got me home every day, but i think i am going to go back to averitt within the next couple months. If you have any other questions let me know and i will try to answer them for you.

    Thanks!
Are you familiar with the location I mentioned? Is that a terminal, or simply a drop-lot?
I need to be home every weekend, minimum. Hoping for something that might get me home for a 10 hour break once or twice during the week as well. Is that realistic, working for Averitt, living in the Indianapolis area?

the location in Indy is just a drop lot. I know they could get you home on the weekends, but i am not sure about getting home during the week.
