The paper app says lifetime, not within a certain number of years. So, it's already reported. Are you saying I'm stressing over nothing and I'll be okay even if to missed something from that long ago? This has already caused a retest of my blood pressure.
MidwestResident Thanks this. -
Yep... it's the recent past out to say 10 years that they really scrutinize. It also depends on the nature of your indiscretions... no axes and coffins? LOL!! You should be good to go.MidwestResident Thanks this.

DOT requirements are for a failed DOT drug test in a DOT regulated position. Prime's policy is any test, period.
Most starter companies aren't as "selective" as Prime.MidwestResident Thanks this. -
If you can't remember what happened 30 yrs ago then it must not be that bad,I wouldn't put it down.If recruiter calls you the next day and ask about it then say its been so long ago I forgot all about it.

Prime can't be the only company that has this policy.I would be researching on other companies first before going to school.
MidwestResident and Dinomite Thank this. -
Any updates, borgg? Did you talk to your recruiter?
MidwestResident Thanks this. -
Spoke with my recruiter and they said as long as I was honest on my application, which I was, it was worth a shot to come up. I have really nothing to lose by going and trying at this point, so that's what I will do. As long as I am honest, they can decide for themselves. Thank you all again.

Don't care about the drug issue, I make no bones about using.
That out of the way, did you ever get hired at the job where you failed the pre-employment UA?
and this brings up the second UA, was it at the same company?
If it was at the same company, then you left on your own - right?
Was the company a regulated (state or federal) company like trucking?
If the first three questions are yes, don't even bother putting that on your application because from what my lawyer says they can not legally confirm or deny that you had a drug test and if it no on the last question, being a non-regulated business, they are limited to what they can say when asked about previous employment.MidwestResident, borgg and otherhalftw Thank this. -
Good luck, how far are you from Prime? So they know about your 2 failed drug test?
MidwestResident and HotH2o Thank this.
