Trans Am Still

Well, break's over. Kinda tough getting back in the truck but got a good load out of the house. High Point NC to Longmont Colorado. Good way to start the new year. Currently waiting for my 10 to be up at a service plaza on the WVA turnpike. It snowed a little bit last night. Sitting in the car parking lot as thats all there was left. But at least this place isn't busy yet. Taking up a whole row of parking is not what I had in mind. Just noticed, the HOS made some wholesale changes. I missed something. The 34 hour reset can be done countless times in the same week, and doesn't have to include consecutive 1-5am?? The 14 hour clock now stops in sleeper birth mode. NICE!! Did I die for ten years and wake up to these changes?? Deuces.

5 days 20 hrs and 40 mins left before my flight leaves..

I'm having a hard time getting my wife to understand. That this move is for the better. I have 5 kids total. In which 4 of them live with me... 14, 11(not at home), 9, 4, and 1. I do understand her frustrations but I'm looking at the future. The quicker I get the experience the quicker I can land any job! Sorry not trying to bring my personal issues to the thread but I just needed to vent.

Just do yourself and your family a favor and don't go lease. That's a lot of mouths to feed and you can't afford to stay in the negative with people counting on you too provide for them.. Be a company guy for a while before you think about buying a truck. Then if you want to buy one with cash or do third party financing somewhere.
