You nailed it, Socal. I'm a very patient man, and understanding and loyal to a fault, but even I have my limits.

    Dominick253 and socal Thank this.

I don't get why some of these larger carriers starve drivers by feeding them such short runs, it just doesn't make CENTS captin zoomy!

Hey if if you wanna work for a large company check lessors out, I heard they run good, faster trucks (67) and nice equipment. Just toshin it out there!! Good luck homez

Nope it's a Nubian. A real "milker" according to the owner. "Scratch behind her ears and she'll follow you everywhere" he says....

Wife told him "either the goat goes or I go." Guy says " And since I can't afford a 3rd alimony payment, and she's a pretty good cook, I'm gonna have to sell the goat."

Dude, if I really had a goat I'd have either sold it or cooked it by now :biggrin_2559:

I'm not one who moves quickly; used to be that way but it's never worked out well for me doing that. I'm willing to ride it out a little longer and give things a chance to get better. If I do move it will probably be to a smaller company like Risinger that moves customer freight year round. Generally the benefits of stability outweigh the costs of short term problems. That said, if the problem is systemic or cultural rather than seasonal, then it's time to go.

Out of the shop. Waiting a few to tell dispatch so they don't try to run me today; I need a 34. And I gotta thaw.

You may want to think about Indian River Transport. With pulling a tank when you get empty it is quite often a 3-500 mile deadhead to next load ...shoot sometimes 1000 miles. No waiting hours for a pickup 50 miles away just roll.

Fed, showered, laundry done, 34 done in the morning. Payday tomorrow... we'll see.
