Made it to the J just across the Delaware / NJ state line, dropped in Amsterdam then over to Rotterdam, NY for a run to Lansing. I'm expecting lots of fun being so close to the Great Lakes over the weekend.

I counted a total of 29 wrecked cars and trucks when I passed through there today, I-65 from Indy to I-80/90. Five of the trucks were jack-knifes. At the EB Fremont travel plaza, I was hoping to make it to Ohio since their plazas are nicer. But got detoured around the accident/closure of 80/90. It only added 1-1.5 hours to my trip. Met a guy that said he sat for 8 hours in the closure.
I was suppose to make it home tomorrow, that is looking unlikely now. 628 miles to so, doable but with these road conditions, I'm not going to push for it. I'd most likely end up staying up late catching up on tv or playing games, so maybe stopping an hour or two away for another night in a boring truck will work out just as well. -
I just slipped into a spot someone must have just vacated at the EB Elkhart plaza ... have all weekend to get to MA.

ran a load to Vegas then pickup a sterilite in Lake Havasu, shut down now at my normal rest area on the 40 and then will be running a load up to Merced tomorrow, first Saturday in awhile I am not heading to Vegas.

Sitting in the ta in Erie, PA. The official sites say 90 west is open here to the west but cops are not letting anyone out at all. Drove about 25 miles in white out on 86 in NY just to get somewhere to get off the road. What a way to end my first week solo lol. Trying to get to Findley, OH for drop and will need a 34 by then. I need out of this cold and snow for a few days, while first week I have been driving on snow, before at least I had heavy loads but with only 13000 in the box and this being the worst snow yet, I'm not chanceing it.

By the way, anyone else have an international with the Espar bunk heater notice that below 25 degrees you freeze your butt off? It's 5 here now with 20 to 35 Mph winds and it just isn't cutting it.

just dropped at the Target dc in Rotterdam, NY. Now I'm off to Lansing, MI, should be fun.

I'm glad I wasn't one of them.
I waited until dawn to head out this morning and got my load delivered at 0830. A very easy drop with a good mt waiting.
Then I went to Costco in Morris for my next load. I only had 55 minutes left on my 70 when I scaled it at TA, so I'm just staying here until the wee hours.
I deliver in MI tomorrow at 1100.
My next pplan is interesting.
I'll be heading to Denver terminal, empty. 1300 miles for a reposition? That'll be a record for me. -
They had me do that once, Texas to Fontana. I was new so I called to make sure I was reading it right and getting paid to drive an mty all that way lol. Mileage was about the same as yours, maybe a little less.

The bunk heater in my PornStar keeps the bunk area smokin' hot at those temps.
