just what happened to me yesterday
have a load....load cancelled.....oh wait go pick up your load

still have a room in Wells Nv so I can concentrate
on Fako's demise

 

HELLO Y'ALL.... WOW! You guys have been PRETTY BUSY in the thread here... It will take me hrs to catch up with the last days' postings... But hopefully I will have some time tomorrow...

I have been busy... pretty busy... no time to relax and visit the forum...

Delivered a load last... when was that?? Hold, I gotta look on my paper log here... Oh yeah... delivered at the Panama City Port Authority in FL last Jan/08.... then, headed to Atlanta for reload... And spent an evening at this wonderful rest area in Eufaula, AL...



There were only 3 other trucks there all night... Very quiet...

Pick up at PEPSICO on Jan/09 early morning and delivered at my co. warehouse in TN... then, dropped trailer and bobtail to run some errands... But spent last night at the warehouse.... nobody there.... very nice...

Pick up another load this morning somewhere else in TN and now going to PA again... freaking cold place up there... and all that salt on the road...

Now parked at this truck stop in KY...



Got here this afternoon and leaving at 2 am... All those empty spots are taken now...
Will stop at WM for my weekly groceries and then park at another PRETTY CONGESTED truck stop nearby receiver...

I should go to be in 7 mins but still waiting for my meal to finish cooking... Haven't eaten anything other than granola with milk this morning, then 3 oranges, one energy bar and a lot of roasted peanuts...

There's a Denny's here but I don't eat none of their food...

 

Parked at home still. Almost got farm hands grain wagon back togather. He ran a trailer bearing dry drug his rear door across a short concrete wall. Had to put a used axle in that wasn't for a Wilson air ride trailer. So I had to cut all the mounting hard wear off his bad axle and the axle he bought and make it fit. All we like is fixing the back door. Honest work don't agree with me any more.

 

Parked at the truck parking area on 30 at exit 110 in Cumby, TX. About 5 trucks here, smart guys like me who don't fight for parking at the truck stops on 30 which were packed an hour ago.

 

Sitting at the rest area in New Paris Ohio east bound on I70.
Headed to Fogelsville Pa for a Monday afternoon delivery. All kinds of time.... GPS says im 9.5 hrs away. Ill find somewhere close to park tomorrow. Looks like more winter weather so at least ill be early.....
Any hidden gems off I78 in eastern Pa?
I cousin lives close so maybe ill visit her...

 

Loves in Lodi , OH ......with a pop off valve next to me going off every minute...fix your sh**....head across Indiana and Illinois tomorrow...which could be wintery fun.....lucky me

 

Parked at a Loves in Searcy Ar. Last time I was up this way this Loves wasn't here so it's been a while. I think I'm going down with the same flu I had this time last year. The one where your body aches and I can't go more than 3 hours without feeling like I've been 15 rounds with Floyd Mayweather. Luckily the beauty of self dispatch is being able to space the loads out as needed and still make a decent check if I can't run hard. If I wasn't going home next weekend I would just take a few days, grab a hotel and hibernate, but it ain't so bad. Gotta pickup in Jonesboro and drop on Monday in Hebron KY the. 24 hours off and then Hebron to Sealy for Friday. Gonna be living off Gatorade

 

At the Gearjammer TS in Yakima, WA. No load till Monday but getting paid pretty well for watching TV instead of driving.
