No, you can do anything with duct tape! Ever ties made from duct tape. I tried to put ULR of a picture of a tie, but at this time its not working!"semi" retired Thanks this. -

I like your method, and have used it myself, but now I much prefer to place the bills in a ziplock bag and just zip-tie them to the rear doors on one of the top-to-bottom poles that latch in to secure the doors at both ends. This is much quicker and cost-effective, and our containers are more likely to have bill boxes on the doors, so that's where we're already looking.Ebola Guy Thanks this. -
Hi windsmith, good point, as like wet toilet paper, wet duct tape is not the best. Ebola Guy did say the bills would be in a plastic bag.
Correct, the plastic bag is primarily to keep out the water. It also keeps the bills from touching the sticky side of the tape.
But windsmith, you did ask a good question. When it is raining, I do my best in drying where the tape goes. Seldom does it downpour to where everything is drenched when I am putting on the tape, so drying it is not totally impossible. The same goes for when there is a lot of salt dust, I just brush the dust away.
Another trick that sometimes works is folding the bills to about the size of a cigarette, wrap it in a plastic bag, and tuck it under the clip that holds the bills. It works if the bills are one or two pages, not so much if you have 8 pages, like I did this morning. I am not a fan of the "fold and tuck" because of the way the bills look after being unfolded/unrolled. Usually if I get bills like that, I will hand over a photocopy of the bills for the consignee instead of the accordion folded bills.windsmith and "semi" retired Thank this. -
Hi OHB, if I would have to say anything bad about this site, is the ability to post images. One of the Mods told me how to do it, but when it comes to computers, I'm an idiot, so I gave up.:smt017
I don't have no trouble posting links at all, that was my 1st time to try to post a picture on here & it did not work for me!
Oh, I found a large car I could post!
"semi" retired Thanks this.
