Location for the night

Yea I like Laredo but this should be the last time for a little while anyways

 

How's sni freight for outbound laredo fare...just as a general feeling where does a lot of their outbound freight go to?..I'm looking at frequently being there being I'm out of houston .

 

The freight goes everywhere. The rates have tanked because of fuel surcharge and winter it's a crap shoot right now. But it'll pick up come march. I like running here but with freight rates down it doesn't make good business sense to continue coming here right now.

 

Theres usually runs to Houston that pay 2$/mile so at the very least it's a decent way for you to get home. Other than that I'm not a big fan of the outbound rates, but you see a lot going to iowa, loads out to Cali, and random stuff all over the place really. Haven't been to Laredo as an ic yet though and haven't run Texas since my first week out so not too familiar with the area. But I do know rates into Texas are good, regional Texas loads pay good (Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana to a certain extent), loads out of the Texas region pay crap.
