The company isnt that bad from what Ive seen but Im new to the company. Thankfully I havent had to do runs into these rinky-dinky little yards as of yet. Averitt was notorious about sending 53's into these yards that a pup truck you barely fit into. Hopefully this will stsy the same for the most part. Buddy of mine who drives for them in North East got an autoshift, after 10 years of shifting he is literally amazed with this new trucks tranny. He is on a NE preferred route, sop the majority of his runs are in the North East with few exceptions, BUT he still gets his avg of 2300 miles minimum.

I know that this post is a bit dated, how is Celadon these days? I am trying to compile a list of companies to start with, and my aunt recommended me Celadon and Roehl.
-

I'm starting the 2 day refresher at Celadon on Monday, looking forward to it.

Does everyone get one of those new lone star internationals ?
-
If you want to lease a truck you can get a Lone Star.
I've heard its some kind of testing deal between International and Celadon.
I start training at the Indy facility and would like some input from current drivers or students.
Where are their main shipping lanes?
I'd like to stay away from the east coast if possible.
Thanks. -
I'm 3 weeks late but if you still need info.. they ship everywhere lol including Canada.. we (husband wife expedited team) rarely are sent to tight yards.. normally DCs such as Wal-Mart, P&G, Fed Ex, Philip Morris ect.. company is forced dispatch lease is not.. we find ourselves in the north east occasionally but you really can't go off us because we do run primarily coast to coast being a team..a normal rt we run is Richmond VA to Kent Washington drop to CA then back across to Hagerstown MD.. are you wanting to go company, lease, solo, team, dry, refer? If anything I can answer just ask!

The Lone Stars are the lease operator trucks.
The t680s are the team trucks.
The Pete 579s are the reefer trucks.
The Pro Stars are the company OTR trucks (there is no difference between the Lone Star and Pro Star interiors btw)
They just got in some Cascadias that I am not sure what division they are being assigned to, yet.
Trainers can and do operate all of the above. -
Which school are you in freshy.. they have a few now lol. You based outta Indy..btw.. Solo drivers are being put in the kw as well now the white ones, heard mostly Canada but I know a few state side drivers running them.. but you are right about everything else.. good luck
