    What a day!

Got dispatched on a load that was to pickup in Altoona, PA. About 9 miles outside of Altoona, I pull off to call to confirm directions. Turns out the address I had wasn't part of the business I was calling. After playing phone tag with my dispatch, turns out the load cancelled. So I turn around and park at the Keystone Truck Stop off of US22 in Cresson, PA. Get dispatched on a load to pick up in New Eagle, PA, which is a mere 20 miles from New Stanton where I unloaded last night. I basically burned 3 and a half hours to go 20 miles.

Here's where it gets fun. Since I'm known for taking the off the beaten path path, I got it in my head to run US119 through Greensburg, PA. I did see the big sign that said use PA66 or PA66 Business due to turn restrictions within Greensburg but I figured I'm staying on US119, I'm not turning off the main road. Well as I found out, US119 south makes a left turn in downtown Greensburg onto PA66 Business complete with a sign "No turns for trucks with 3 or more axles except local deliveries" I was like, really? So I crossed my fingers and turned. No cops chased me down, lol.

I loaded at one of those cramped shippers in small town PA with pallets and assorted material just waiting to scratch up a brand new truck. Managed to back in scratch free.

Now sitting at the Mr. Fuel in Spiceland, IN. Load delivers Friday in Tulsa.

Because then EVERY load you got dispatched on would be to or through Texas.... Just the way the world spins and wobbles.

Lmao. That load that cancelled was my load home. It was going to Phoenix but I was going to pawn it off on the regional fleet.
