Sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread, if I did let me know. I was wondering if you guys could help me out and tell me where you've found the cheapest price from chrome and accessories?

I've used Big Rig Chrome shop and Big Rig World for parts, both have been done online.

forget cheap... seriously. You get what you pay for and when your spending hundreds of dollars, what is an extra $50-$75 when its of better quality. I'm sure you do not want to buy something and have to replace it after 3 yr cause its rusting. So look for quality first then go price shopping. Also I would look at a good quality stainless over chrome for obvious reasons.

Another thing to look for when buying Stainless is get the 304. Most of what you see is 410 which will rust a little, but the worst thing about it is when you polish it, it will scratch up. The 304 is usually 25% more price wise and you usually have to order it. If in doubt about whether or not it is 304, put a magnet on it. If it has any magnetism it is not 304.

I think chrome looks better than stainless.

When I look on cascadia's plastic grill, times go by and chrome paint started to peal off.

Chrome is pretty when the steel is polished before it hits the tanks but it has a finite life. Stainless can be sanded or polished over and over forever!

I think polished aluminum is the prettiest of all when done to a real jewelry-like finish but it's the most delicate. One rub with your finger and it scratches.

High quality chrome is hard to find...I have a chrome bumper, like a real chrome bumper, it is very good even in the northeast have had it for 8 yrs and it does get polished but still after all that time no pit marks. Besides that I haven't had luck with cheaper chrome, I agree with The admiral 304 stainless seems to hold up the best. I buy from Berubes in Nh, 75 chrome shop in Fl, 32 chrome shop in TN, Jerry's chrome shop in Sc, Elizabeth chrome in Nj, and some other smaller no name places on the east coast their prices vary. They all kinda have a specialty area where good price meets quality. Sometimes the best prices can be found online. If anyone has come across any new chrome shops on the east coastish area I would be interested.

I'm happy with t600. Polish aluminum rims and the steps. Thinking of adding some chrome for interior, doors, and the windows.
