Hey there a quick question. I plan on using my phone as a hot spot while out on the road and will 30 GB of data be enough for a month if I plan to watch tv shows and 2-3 movies and of course check this website out. Or should I reduce it a bit and is it a good idea using my phone as a hot spot? I have AT&T btw. Thanks

30gb will be borderline if your watching TV and movies. Browsing the web and you tube while streaming Pandora I can use 20gb a month with no movies or shows.

Gonna need a LOT more than 30gigs if you plan on watching TV/Youtube/Netflix (Video) and stuff like that.
I guess it's not a 'bad' idea to use Phone as a Hotspot, a lot 'us' do it.
Keep it plugged into the Charger, as they tend to use a lot of Juice.
It's just expensive if you plan on using a lot of Data (Video) -
okay lol, I'll have to check my data usage then and see if Ill need more lol
-
I guess Ill have to get more than 30gb then lol, I just plan to watch one tv show a night and maybe 1-2 movies a week, and browsing the web. Maybe 40? lol

I don't watch a LOT of Video and stuff like that.
But do download some stuff here and there, and do some Audio Streaming
TuneIn Radio App/Pandora.
I average about 45gigs.
Guess you'll just have to see

I am on an old unlimited plan though.

You should get unlimited

I have unlimited minutes and text but I dont think they have unlimited data
. Itll cost me 165 for 40 GB with my current plan that I have. Right now I am paying 65 for unlimited talk/text and 2 GB of data with AT&T.
