Who pays Drivers for Zero Defect DoT Inspections

Paperwork: drivers license, medical card (medicalexaminers certificate/DOT physical), log book, vehicle inspection reports, andSkill Performance Evaluation Certificates if applicable.
Driver: seat belt use, alcohol and drugs
Vehicle: brake systems, exhaust systems, fuel systems,electrical systems (cables and batteries), steering mechanisms, frames,suspensions, tires, wheels, rims, hubs, lighting (head lights, turn signals,emergency flashers, brake lights, tail lights), coupling devices (if trailer ispresent), load securement, condition of trailer bodies (if present), windshieldwipers, and emergency exits. If the load contains Hazardous Materials, aHaz-Mat officer will inspect Haz-Mat items.
Level II- Walk Around and Paperwork Inspection
The inspector performs a Level I inspection with theexception that, in the walk around inspection, the inspector is unlikely toexamine anything that requires getting under the vehicle.
Level III- Paperwork Inspection

The fact that a level 1 involves much more than a level 2 or 3 is why I said what was posted made no sense to me and the poster I quoted acknowledged that he had reversed his information. -
DHT is $50 bucks I think. I try to avoid them.

Bro works for a small family owned in OH, Mad River Transportation. $100 for any level. He says it would be great, but their CSA scores are pretty good and they never get inspected! He's only made $200 from inspections in 5 years.

Yeah. $300 each at Team ProDrive. But it's not like we're getting inspected. I've only had 2 in 8 years. Both level 1.

We get $150 for level one at Steelman. I think it's $100 and $50 for a 2 and 3.
