My first new equipment just picked it up last week. Very pleased and looking back over the years at the struggles from my early years as o/o can't believe it really. Started looking seriously back in July. '16 Great Dane composite, plastic lined, air slider tandems, logistics post 16" centers, metal roof. The specs I really needed everything else was compromisable. Sticker shock of $43,000 and $44,000 for custom spec Utility and GD with everything I could possibly think of was just too much $$$$$ for a friggin box so I opted to go with a plainer, much cheaper dealer stock unit. Very pleased with it and do not have any regrets at all. Looking forward to years of trouble free service. After recovering funds next up will be a good property that I can park my unit at and build a nice spread. Big thanks to wichris, mp4694330, & G/MAN for advice. Never happened without pics right?

Picking up the first load. A very special thank you to TQL for this first load and helping to pay for this with past loads :)

Look at that rear stainless steel frame nobody builds them as well as GD.

Never had a trailer with 8 very good tires before. Efficient Bridgestone eco. Trailer glides down the highway much smoother than my old one did.

Anyone ever seen slack adjusters like these before? No grease fitting? There is only a grease fitting for the s-cam bushing but not the slacks??? Ground is damp and I'm not up to crawling under anything today. Take a closer look at it some other time.

I think you will find the grease fitting for the slack adjuster on the back side.

$27,500 that included FET. Had another $100 in it to tag, title, and misc stainless hardware for the tag. No sales tax on equipment in TN.

Way to go, RC. If it's any consolation, it will never look like this again. No grease fittings is simple, like ball joints, they want it to fail. Btw, are you cheating with those tandems slid all the way forward?:biggrin_25525:
