Depends on the station/state. We run two main routes and the stations we use a lot have steeper discounts. If they're a franchise some do a rebate on top through the station. Have a couple that we try to use because of that. Have one small chain that will always do .05 below pilots, forward the pricing and then they give us their price.
May go back to pre-paying and dumping 10K gallons at a few main stops. Usually good for another .10 They used to buy back your excess at cost, now some want to buy back at current or cost whichever is less. Works best with franchisee's.

Just checked a few stops in Illinois on my carrier's website. Lasalle still is the discount champion there. $1.27 discount off of cash pump price of $3.10 a gallon. Price after fuel tax, $$1.38. Price with fuel tax, $1.83.
