I spent the day at the new hinckley yard doing security...lots of guys home means a messy yard...it's all good met some cool drivers this weekend..they took the tough conditions here in stride. Got my new burton oven cooking ham..back on Atkins lol. A few notes on hinkley...there is a nice giant eagle grocery just down the street, great clips, and home Depot all in one place. I would recommend bobtail there, not a lot of room for a trailer. No portajon here yet and it's muddy if it has rained recently. For the flat beds the container is here for tarps etc...I presume moved over from mogadore..it's still on a flat trailer. Watch out for route 303 to the east. Fuel and route will send you that way and it's got a 17% grade ski hill to climb if you are coming in from the east or descend from west to east. If u like that stuff go for it. I hit the bottom of that at 55 mph and was in 4th at the top (fully loaded). So the better half and kiddos coming down for my Christmas reset tomorrow, should be able to find some fun in cleveland.... merry christmas all. Hinckley out

 

Stuck at the Gary Terminal, awaiting my truck to get looked at. I have this hunch I'll be here for a minimum of 2 days waiting. Gotta love Gary, and the surrounding Chicago area!

 

Iowa 80 with student. Got haircut, saw a movie, did laundry, stuffed ourselves, got some stuff for truck, shower...next is watching the OSU Buckeyes do some duck hunting tonight. Just hope the ducks don't shoot back.

At mothership dropping off a student tonight. Never seen this many new trucks. Must be 3 or 4 rows south of washbay.

 

Saw the goblue 'ad' on website. Congrats on completing the 2 yr program! Sounds like you may have moved into the recruiting dept or are trying out for a speaking part in the next 'Working At Roehl' recruiting video.
