I live in Northeast Miss. Does anyone know what the freight in this area is like with TMC?

Ok well turn of events have taken place over this past few days. It's requiring me to leave tmc. I turn in my notice today expecting them to allow me too continue my run till my service date on the 7th. They did not. The routed me straight to the indy terminal without question and had me turn my truck in. That was fine but it wouldve been nice to have been asked my opinion. It is what it is though.

Wow! Been following your thread since the beginning, as I am interested in TMC after finishing school. Sorry to see your TMC experience come to an end... I've learned a lot. Hope it's nothing too serious that's causing you to leave. Best wishes!

My leaving was of my own. I have some personal issues that will rrquire me to be home on a more preductive and liberal schedule. I will still be driving. Ive accepted a position with PGT Trucking out of Monaca Pa on a dedicated account that they have in my area pulling a Conestoga. With the numbers they say and the truck specs, im fairly certain i can turn what im making now on average.

I can not say enough good things about tmc and their program. Its been great, and the money ive made has been awesome. It was a rough start with my 5 day breakdown, but overall i can not complain.

This is normal with just about every company out there today. They fear that you could damage their equipment or reputation so it is best to cut the ties before any damage can be done. There are too many people that would do this to not take a change on those who would not. I have only worked for one company that allowed me to stay until my parting date, which was a year later, because I had worked there so long and they know I was a person of my word.

Good luck with everything Gunner! I'm in orientation right now and I'm very happy with the choice I made to come to TMC. Can't wait to get through these two weeks and get in a truck!

    Gunner75 Thanks this.

So the question now becomes, what is going to happen to this thread? Are you going to start a new one and cover what you are doing with the new company? Would like to get information about PGT as I am sure many would.
