    I agree, but that was done long ago like a form of shorthand for computer users.

    Use colons instead of the left parentheses. That should work.

    Love the fact that Hawaii is like near 80 degrees year round...but holy cow, does it got to be getting WAY over populated by now. And my least favorite part of living life is people. Thanks anyway! 8)

    Population in Hilo is 44,000 and about 186,000 on the island of Hawaii. That's not too bad. But Oahu is 1.5 million. People come to visit and don't want to go back home. I think when they do these population statistics, they include the tourist also.
