info about Total Transportation

I think they are owned by US Express. One new driver posted he went there and it seemed just average even though he has a friend in management. He said it seems OK, but he didn't stay but a few months.

I would try Abilene Motor Express in Richmond, VA first.

 

I've been with Total for 4 years now. Came straight out of CDL school. I've been very happy here. It has it's ups and downs, good and bad. But overall I would say it's a very good place. Anyone who comes in with a chip on their shoulder or an attitude...won't last. You definitely have to "earn" your place. But once you do, they take very good care of you. Honestly, if I ever leave Total, it'll be a sad day for me. A lot of those guys feel like family to me.

Training has undergone an overhaul in the last two years so I can't be too specific about it without risking giving you misinformation.

Regarding Chinatowns suggestion of Abilene, I second giving them a look as well. I've heard pretty good things from most all of their drivers that I've encountered.
